While the big guys are at SemTech, we are preparing the next Semantic Technology event!

Maybe a little smaller, but let’s make it as thrilling!  The Semantic Meetup in Amsterdam will gather those who did not make to SanFran this year, with those who just got off the plane. There can’t be a better moment to exchange thoughts on Semantic Technology, then right after the yearly high mass.

Who’s joining?

We decided to join forces, ‘cause union is strength. W3C Benelux is supporting the meetup, the guys from the Dutch Semantic Web Meetups are massively joining and we’re talking to work even closer in the future.

At this moment more than 30 people confirmed that they will attend – and it might be even more the day itself – and we have 5 speakers giving a 10’ pitch talk about what they’re doing.

Yes, well, we like to do it the informal way. The talks should get the talks going, the real information exchange will be between two pints of Belgian beer.  Between the talks we leave some time for discussion, and do grab a sandwich.

Where? When?

Tuesday June 29, in the center of Amsterdam at the Brakke Grond. We start at 17:00 and plan to end around 20:00. (For those making the long trip from Belgium, the last train to Brussels leaves at 20:50). But with those Belgian beers, you never know of course…
