Quick test: do the words ‘agile’, ‘scrum’, ‘sprint’ mean anything to you? If they don’t, have a look at the Scrum development methodology.
To our users, scrum means we release a new version every two to three weeks. Those periods are called ‘sprints’. We just concluded sprint number 14.
Two weeks ago, our product sales people listed following features to be in the sprint:
- Workspace templates
- Integrate with Microsoft Project
- Download TenForce meeting info to your calendar program
- Produce new overview graphs
- Hidden bonus feature
Workspace templates
We offer a number of predefined workspaces, ranging from simple action management to full blown, Prince2-ready, all you can eat workspaces. See a (partial) sample below. We’ll elaborate these templates later with ITIL, PMBok and others… Of course you can edit that configuration at any time.

Microsoft Project integration
You can now import MSProject tasks and import them. Along with the tasks (summary and sublevel), you can distribute any detailed actions that you link to these tasks to the relevant team member’s to do list.

Download meeting to your calendar program

You can now download your TenForce meeting info, including attendees, meeting title, location and so on to your calendar program like outlook.
New Overview graphs
We added some eye candy that you can actually use: how much work is there to be done, and when do we need to do that work.

Bonus feature
We can now add any type of field to any kind of list. How is that for a statement? That means that when you definitively need that special little attribute that you need to manage your process, we can add it for you as a ‘Custom field’. In the future we’ll offer that configuration utility to any TenForce user that has administrator rights. For now, please send us your fields, its type and the allowed values and we can quickly set it up for you. For one of our prospects we are currently setting up a list of 40+ of these custom fields!
Again thanks for the feedback we received. You are welcome to continue testing the application. There are some exciting features coming up ! Please send your feedback to support@tenforce.com.
