Semantic Meetups at TenForce... an offer you can’t refuse!

Monday May 17 was a big day for Belgian Semanticians. Can you say big ‘evening’?  In the early evening more than 20 people passionate about Semantic Web Technologies gathered at our offices. They chatted, they talked,  they presented their latest work and exchanged thoughts. They got to know each other, outside the web 2.0. And they had a fresh Stella, as it was a Belgian meetup after all!

Browse RDF data based on SKOS models - a new tool from our Semantic Technology Lab

Our Semantic Technology Lab developed a practical tool to browse a taxonomy using the SKOS model. Browsing the RDF data behind the model makes them tangible.

SKOS is a recommendation by W3C to support the use of classification systems like thesauri, taxonomies and subject heading lists in a semantic implementation. In fact it provides a standard way to represent knowledge organization systems using the Resource Description Framework (RDF).
