Leuven, Belgium, October 12th, 2017 – TenForce announces the appointment of Jan Van den Nieuwenhof as their new CEO. He assumed the new responsibilities starting September 15th, 2017 and succeeds Frans Vanhaelewijck who stepped down as CEO to take up a more active role as Technology Advisor.

Jan Van den Nieuwenhof has been part of the TenForce team for the past 15 years, beginning as Project Manager and Team Leader, before joining the TenForce leadership as Business Unit Manager, overseeing the development of the company’s software products. Under his management, more than 100 projects and modules were deployed for clients in the utilities and manufacturing sectors. Nowadays, over 70,000 professionals use TenForce to manage their work, field inspections, process safety and operational risk.  His mission becomes now a renewed commitment to take the TenForce software solutions to a higher level.

We decided to bring the unique capabilities present in our company – on one side the expertise in semantic technology, machine learning, and big data, and on the other, the experience in digitalizing workflow-driven processes – together; to add a layer of (data) intelligence in our products that will augment our customers’ intelligence and efficiency with a factor (or force) 10.

These new products, together with the agility and flexibility of our new organization’s structure, will be the drivers of our international growth and expansion for the upcoming years.

In his new role, Jan will work together with the TenForce management team, now comprised of Julia Dubois as Chief Operating Officer and Bastiaan Deblieck as Chief Commercial Officer. Julia Dubois joined the TenForce team two years ago as the leader of the Semantic Technology, Machine Learning and Big Data Business Unit. As one of the founders, Bastiaan Deblieck is continuing his mission of developing the organization and driving business growth.
