The Future Is WOW 2018: Here’s What Happened

10 · 10 · 2018

The second edition of our yearly client event has come and gone in a whirlwind. With the rush of the last days’ preparations, it still feels unreal that it’s already over. We’ve had a great time organizing everything and it was definitely worth it to see everybody enjoying a nice evening in the company of our team.

So what was so special this year? Well… we decided it’s time for our clients to see where the magic happens and we opened the doors to our office in Leuven. A little inside info, we hosted to what was the largest number of subscribers we ever had at one of our events. Needless to say, we were a bit nervous about our office getting crowded. Still, it was a challenge we gladly took up and in the end, everything went well.

Though we want our clients to get to know our company, people and products better, we always try not to make it all about ourselves. We find it important to create a space where our clients can learn from each other and where we can all share our news, success stories and lessons learned.  So here’s a quick overview of The Future Is WOW 2018 talks.

TenForce Classics

A section in which we focus mainly on product news, what’s new, what other features we developed, how to better use the existent ones and other info that can make the TenForce user more efficient and productive. Here are the topics we tackled:

  • Mobile Inspections: Scanning Bar & QR Codes with TenForce with Jetro Wils.
  • 100% Digital Contractor Qualification with Katrin Bulanowski.
  • TenForce Power User: Mastering Advanced Tricks with Bart Peremans.
  • Using A.I. to Drive GDPR Compliance with Uroš Milošević.

TenForce Client Stories

We always think it’s important to give an open stage to our clients who can share their stories and lessons learned, as well as their experience with using TenForce. This year we welcomed:

  • Securex: Managing Risk for 30.000 Companies Using TenForce with Oona Coppens.
  • Telenet: Building the Network of the Future with TenForce with Jo Ysenbaardt.

The Future is WOW

We always reserve a part of our event to talk about tech innovations to come or those that are already here to stay. This year we focused on IoT and IIoT and although other talks brushed on the same topic, we had two presentations meant to bring more clarity on the challenges that this technology presents and its applications on the factory floor:

  • Aloxy: Enabling Industrial IIoT (Jan Coppens).
  • Industrial IoT: The Innovation Paradigm (Sourav Rout, Telenet).

? Check out the decks of the main talks here.

The evening ended on a high note with a hands-on TenForce IIoT demo, a fun AR-enabled scavenger hunt, and special prizes.

We are happy to see that with each passing year, more and more people want to join us and we hope we ’ll see even more of you joining the next edition. Make sure you’ll be among the first to receive news about the 2019 events, subscribe to our newsletter!
