Diestsevest to De Hoorn: We’ve moved!

Over the years, we’ve called a few different buildings home, but Leuven’s always been our base.

At Diestsevest, there were BBQs in the summer sun (and the occasional one bravely held on cold winter nights). Board game nights became a tradition, and we shared potlucks filled with family recipes passed down through generations. We ordered in pizza, introduced our American colleagues to the very best Belgian cheeses, and we’ll never forget the sushi boats.

Saying goodbye to the sunny garden oasis out back was certainly hard. But with boxes packed and cables coiled, it was on to pastures new.

Enter De Hoorn

Our new home, De Hoorn, is in the heart of Leuven’s creative Vaartkom district. With waterfront views and community vibes, it’s modern coworking meets heritage charm. And it’s not just any building. De Hoorn is a former Stella Artois brewery, where beer flowed right up until the 1980s. Which is fitting, really, as we’ve shared offices with brewers before. And one of our clients, AB InBev, is just a few streets away, still brewing Stella to this day.

A declutter Marie Kondo would be proud of

We waved goodbye to years of desk clutter and mystery cables dating back to 2011. Even the office furniture got a second life. The whole process started looking less like an office move and more like a pop-up kringwinkel. Almost nothing went to waste, and we ended up with a lighter, fresher start in our new space. And the best part? We ended up with a small fund set aside for a future TenForce day out.

Ctrl-Alt-Del(ivered)

And then there’s our server team strongmen (or our IT team, as we more commonly call them). After carefully powering down the last virtual machine, they became makeshift UPS technicians, figuring out how to take apart racks and power supplies just to get them out the door. At one point (and with a little help from Secretariat) they had to wrestle a 100+ kg server rack out of its hiding place.

On top of all that heavy lifting, they handled the usual behind-the-scenes puzzles too—moving VPN tunnels, checking plans, and making sure everything was ready to go before moving day. Thanks to months of prep, the switch flipped smoothly, without a hitch.

Come see it for yourself

We’ve settled into our new home at De Hoorn, and we’re ready to put it to good use. That’s where The Future is WOW 2025 comes in.
