One party, three continents, 25 years of TenForce
We recently celebrated our 25th anniversary. And with teams in Belgium, India, and the U.S., there was really only one way to do it.
Go big.
One party, spanning three continents and three very different time zones. And almost 24 hours of celebrations.
For our team of party planners, it was…how can we put it? A bit of a logistical puzzle. For everyone else, it was a brilliant way to celebrate together, in person and online (and occasionally while colleagues on another continent were sleeping!)
So, how did we pull off such an ambitious party?
India gets the party started
Breakfast was already underway at our India HQ while the EU team slept soundly in their beds, and the US team were hitting the hay before a long day of celebrations ahead.
By the time the EU team rolled into the office for their morning koffiekoeken, the India team had already enjoyed a morning full of games. That included an in-the-deep-end introduction to Kho Kho, a fast-paced Indian game of tag, for Leuven colleagues Linard and Tonny. And a game of cricket with temperatures above 30 C proving no match for the team!
After working up a real appetite, a much-loved TenForce tradition awaited them ā a potluck lunch. Meanwhile, the U.S. team was still catching some zās.
Childhood photos, curious facts, and TenForce trivia
What better way to celebrate 25 years than taking a walk down memory lane?
Fueled by breakfast or lunch (depending on location), our India and EU offices joined together for an online quiz. There was the expected TenForce trivia, an interesting fact or two about our colleagues that had many of us stumped, and some quite frankly adorable childhood pictures of our colleagues from around the world.
Some faces were instantly recognizable. And othersā¦less so.
At last, everyone was awake
As Indiaās celebrations spiraled into an impromptu dance party, the EU office began laying out their very own potluck. Across the Atlantic, our U.S. colleagues were awake and starting their day with donuts and coffee.
Finally, with all three locations awake, it was time for a speech from Jan. He took us on a whistle-stop tour of TenForceās history, before revealing the result of our 25 Years Strava Challenge.
Our target was 250 miles. And we smashed it, reaching 469 miles. We waited with bated breath as a randomizer decided how much we would multiply that figure by for our charity donation. Letās just say the randomizer was feeling generous, and we were all very happy with the result.
Quizzes, bingo and plenty more food
While the India team tucked into a pizza dinner, the EU and U.S. teams took their turn at the quiz. And all three offices finished up their TenForce bingo, giving us another nice chance to discover unexpected things about the people we work with. And perhaps some useful material for our next quiz.
Like ducks to water
Once the quiz was complete, the EU team headed to Re-boot for a gourmet pizza tasting on the water, close to our longtime customer AB InBev.
The U.S. team enjoyed its own potluck lunch before taking a boat trip through the Port of Houston, giving them a chance to see the home of several of our U.S. customers from a completely different perspective.
It also continued something of a TenForce tradition. Our 15th anniversary featured a boat trip too, so itās clear that every decade or so, we must take to the water.
After a fantastic evening, the EU team finished with anniversary cake and headed home to bed.
Meanwhile, the U.S. team still had plenty of celebrating left to do, including a fiercely competitive game of Jenga and a well-earned pizza dinner.
The 25-minute photo challenge
Throughout the day, the offices were a-buzz with alarms chiming at 25 minutes past the hour, our reminder to post photos in the Teams channel ā with the office posting the most photos at the precise time receiving a prize.
It was a great day, and a great way to connect offices and celebrate together.
And, with the team celebrations completed, it was time for us all to prepare for The Future Is WOW 2026, our moment to celebrate with our customers, including those who have been with us from the start.
