The rigorous 16-month certification process, conducted by the non-profit B Lab company (see: https://www.bcorporation.net/en-us/certification/) confirmed PDC’s steadfast commitment to excellence, accountability, and transparency throughout its mission-driven business.
Because B Corp certification is holistic, the process to achieve and maintain certification is comprehensive and rigorous. It assesses PDC’s environmental and social practices and policies across five key “pillars” —governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. PDC received an outstanding overall impact score of 92.9, which exceeds the score achieved by more than one-half of the companies that B Lab assessed.
PDC will be held to high standards of accountability through a recertification process, ensuring continuous accountability by updating its impact assessment and securing its continued standing as a Certified B Corporation.
